Our rehab nurses are specialized and trained in assisting patients with chronic or acute illnesses and disabilities restore, maintain, and promote optimal healing. Our inpatient rehab physical therapists are skilled in assessing, treating, and educating patients who have an acute illness or disability. They focus on improving physical functioning in the area mobility which includes walking, stair climbing, balance and coordination, wheelchair use, strength, endurance, and posture.
Our inpatient rehab occupational therapists specialize in assessing, treating, and educating patients who have experienced an acute illness or disability. Our occupational therapists focus on improving activities of daily living, which include dressing, bathing, eating, toileting, and grooming. They also facilitate improvement in the areas of home management tasks, cognitive skills, upper body strength and coordination.
Our speech therapist is uniquely skilled in understanding how acute and chronic medical diagnoses impact a patient’s functioning in the areas of language, speech, cognition, and swallowing. Our speech therapist specializes in conducting functional communication and swallowing evaluations and providing therapy to advance a patient’s speech, language, swallowing and cognitive functions.
