 Apple Pie Oatmeal

1 apple, cored and chopped (skins on)

 

1 cup water

1/2 cup quick cooking oats

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

 

  • Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  • Add the oats, apple, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Turn the heat to low and simmer & stir the oatmeal for 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve with a splash of milk and a little brown sugar sprinkled on top.
