Bivins, V. Michael, MD

A native of Brundidge, Ala., Dr. Bivins earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and attended medical school at UAB. He has had extensive postgraduate training with a concentration in urological cancers at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City and the University of Washington in Seattle. In his free time, Dr. Bivins enjoys jogging and yoga as well as reading and cooking. Dr. Bivins is excited about returning to his home state and looks forward to sharing his knowledge of urology and prostate cancer with UAB Medical West patients and the community.
