Kristen Michael, DO, is originally from Hoover, AL and is a Family & Sports Medicine physician at the UAB Medical West Parkwest Health Center.
She received her bachelor’s degree from The University of Southern Mississippi and her medical degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine (UMKC). She completed her family medicine residency and sports medicine fellowship with UMKC. In her spare time, Dr. Michael enjoys skiing, gymnastics, gardening, baking and spending time with her family.
