Convenient Hospital Visiting Hours & Parking in Birmingham
The visiting hours for routine care patients are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Intensive Care Unit will be closed for visitation during the hours of 6:30am – 7:30am and 6:30pm – 7:30pm.
Women’s Center visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the exception of spouses or significant others.
Rehab visiting hours are from 4 pm to 8 pm, with the exception of spouses or significant others.
It is best for there to be no more than 2 visitors at a time.
In all lots, parking is completely free of charge. Convenient on-campus parking is available at UAB UAB Medical West in several locations. Patients and visitors may park in the flat lot in front of the hospital and enter the building through the main front entrance, or they can park in the first or second floors of the parking deck. If parking in the deck, guests may access the crosswalk to the hospital on the second floor. Valet parking is also available and located at the main entrance.
