Lea Freeman recently joined the Medical West Baccus & Baccus Health Center as a Certified Registered Nurse Practicioner. Lea received both her Bachelors of Science in Biology and Nursing as well as her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed her residency at Medical West Jerry McLane Internal Medicine. She worked as a Registered Nurse for over seven years in UAB Hospital’s Bone Marrow Transplant and Hematology/Oncology Intensive Care Unit.
